What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Arkansas Pain Specialists provided me with an outstanding and compassionate experience from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff was polite, professional, and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. The lab technician took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, making the transition into care smooth and stress-free. What stood out most to me was their deep understanding of my complex chronic pain issues. They didn't just offer the same standard answers--I was given updated medical treatment options, with thorough explanations of pain pharmacology and how each option could help. They also presented me with new approaches I had not previously been offered, which made me feel heard and supported. As someone who is autistic, I deeply appreciated that their care felt autism-friendly, patient, and respectful of my needs. Another major strength is their emphasis on collaboration with other doctors. Knowing that my care will be coordinated across providers gave me confidence that I am in good hands and receiving truly holistic treatment. For the first time in a long time, I left an appointment feeling hopeful--hopeful that I can restore the functions I've lost over the past year, get back to driving, return to work, and live with less pain. Arkansas Pain Specialists has given me more than medical options--they have given me renewed optimism and a clear path forward in my healing journey. I am very grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to helping patients like me reclaim their lives.”

“My mother has been going here for a number of years. They had a recent staff change in which a new doctor came in to take over and deal with the majority of patients. It was good at first, but now things have gone back to the way they were. Their office is closed on Friday. If you have a Thursday appointment to refill your medications and they "forget" to fill them, you're stuck being without for the weekend. This has consistently happened to my mother and I've had to help her deal with being without for those days. This is NOT OKAY! Whoever is in charge of making sure that medications are called into the appropriate pharmacy needs to either go through more training, or be fired. I would be fired if I was this bad at my job. If necessary complaints will be filed with the state medical board and the nursing association of Arkansas.”

“I had my primary care doctor send a referral to this pain management doctor for my chronic back pain and bursitis pain. I never heard from them, so I called to schedule an exam. They told me I was still in the review process, and it would be two more weeks so they can review my issues to make sure they can treat me. Well I never heard back from them, so my primary care doctor called them back, a few times, and they never called her back either. My doctor said, and I agree, that this practice is very unprofessional since they never return calls. I just tried to call them again, but as usual, no one answers, and you get a voicemail. If I can't even get a hold of them to schedule my first appointment, I'd be afraid if they did see me, that I would probably continue to have issues trying to reach them for subsequent follow up appointments or anything else. I'm going to move on and try to find a professional practice that I can actually reach. I suggest the same for anyone needing a pain management doctor.”
