Patient Testimonials
“My first experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. I arrived 15 minutes late after mistakenly going to a pain location with a similar name on Bell Rd., only to discover their location was on 91st--quite a distance away. As a single mother juggling an infant and a busy schedule, I rushed to their current location, hoping they would understand the honest mistake and grant me some grace as a first-time patient. Despite the effort I put into making it there, even sending an email explaining the mix-up since they don't have a functional contact phone number, I was coldly told I needed to reschedule. To make matters worse, the doctor was already running behind, so accommodating me wouldn't have disrupted their schedule. The lack of empathy and compassion was shocking. Any decent medical office should show understanding for new patients, especially under such circumstances. Instead, they dismissed my situation, leaving me frustrated and scrambling to rearrange child care for another day. If you're looking for a practice that values its patients, this is not the place. Their rigid policies and poor communication make it clear that patient care is not their priority.”

“I've been coming to AZ Pain for over a decade now. They diagnosed a compressed spinal cord and helped me manage my pain while I waited for cervical spine surgery, helped diagnose my low back pain I've had for almost two decades, have done injections in my spine for pain control, I've done PT with them (Bri and Johnny are the best!)... they offer full service that is always the BEST. And their staff is amazing! Always friendly and helpful!”

“*claps hands* alright let's get this straight first off, I'm not a patient, I'm actually the boyfriend of one who's been coming here and it's been nothing but fantastic. I've watched my girl struggle with issues her whole life and learning she has scoliosis after YEARS of not knowing was a massive shock and after we've been treating it, it's shown TREMENDOUS results. Nothing but love and appreciation for these guys, completely changed our lives for the better and a especially big shout out to Bre and Jonny who absolutely make this Earth a much better place to be in. Shine on!”

“"In-house" defined as "done or existing within an organization" or "without assistance from an outside organization; internally". I hurt my neck or shoulder from sport and exercise. I found this place through my united health care app. I called them around December 12th to schedule an appointment. I was getting ready to go out of town on the 20th. The receptionist, or whoever I spoke to, had an appointment on the 21st or on January 2nd. I was assured they could do X-Rays and MRI/Imagine in house and not to worry they'd be able to take care of everything. Because of this I opted for the appointment on the 2nd. I arrive to my appointment 30 minutes early. I'm called back and a nurse takes my blood pressure and gets my height/weight. Then a nurse practicioner comes in and asks me what happened. Then without doing a single diagnostic or ANY kind of triage or anything beyond listening to my story decides I need Pain injections and chiropractic visits multiple times a week. We spent less than 15 minutes together before she send me to someone else. This person immediately tries schedule me for pain injections and multiple chiropractic visits a week BEFORE my imaging or anyone has done ANYTHING to triage my issue. When I tell her I don't want that treatment prior to finding out what is wrong she tells me then I need to go schedule an MRI and hands me a referral sheet! At this point I'm very frustrated as I haven't even finished my paperwork AND I wouldn't have take the appointment on the 2nd if I knew I was going to be referred out. This person then begins to argue you with me about what "In-house" means. So I included the definition of "in house" here. If they actually had "In-House" MRI I wouldn't have been given a referral sheet and told to schedule my own MRI. You will notice they have Chiropractic "In-house" because they didn't print me a referral. To this person's credit they never stopped trying to get me to take the pain injections. This place doesn't give a shit about actually helping you get better. They want your money and they want you on pain medication. I did not know that by "Pain Specalist" they meant Drug pushers. I was incredibly direct with both the Nurse Practitioner I didn't want pain medication for an injury she couldn't even name. The best part is the imaging place they recommend isn't even in my network and I still had to go find my own place to get the MRI OH and they did not recommend or do X-Rays which is typically what you would do prior to an MRI since you think you'd want to make sure my neck or shoulder didn't have any broken bones. They must do this commonly because when I told the lady who scheduled my MRI she literally laughed and made a comment about me not being the only to say that. TLDR; Without triaging my injury in anyway, without doing any diagnostic, without even touching my neck or shoulder, without DOING ANYTHING this place tried to push pain medicine and treatment I might not need on my in less time than it took for me to fill out their new patient paperwork. Disgusting. Find somewhere invested in your health and not your wallet.”
