What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Dr. Patel has reduced my pain significantly. He has used his experience, insight, and sometimes intuition to find the cause of my pain--which was often not obvious in the beginning. Damage to my spine was a life-long accumulation of injuries. Some of the imaging field needed needed to be expanded to see what he thought was going on. Sometimes there is no substitute for intuition. It is going to take a two more months for the full affect of my treatment to be more effective but I already better; and, most days are more livable now. Dr. Patel and his support staff, and associates, are special. I could not be more grateful to them. Being "very old" (83 years) is not so bad after all. There is not substitute for hope followed with success.”

“borders on negligence. Though this incident happened 4 months ago, I'm posting now, having already changed to another Pain Care Facility that better fit my needs. At any rate, at this particular facility in Oro Valley. I was experiencing severe pain due to an injured spine, hip, and knee and related conditions, and required a simple bridge refill of my previously prescribed and approved pain medications. Unfortunately, my attending physician was on vacation, so I requested a temporary extension--just a few pills--to manage my pain until the full prescription could be authorized. Despite making multiple phone calls (within a weeks time frame ) and leaving urgent messages, when the pain became unbearable, it still took an entire week before a nurse finally approved what should have taken no more than 10 minutes to verify and fulfill for a known patient with a documented history. This delay in care caused unnecessary suffering and was exacerbated by what I can only describe as mismanaged messages, voice messages and text messages, a dismissive and apathetic attitude from one of the receptionists, along with a complete lack of follow-through by the nursing staff. The nurse(s) either failed to check their messages in a timely manner or chose not to act on them with the urgency required. Either scenario is unacceptable ! This type of systemic inefficiency and disregard for patient well-being is not only unprofessional, it risks crossing into medical negligence or malpractice, particularly when it results in preventable pain or deterioration of a patient's condition. All Patients deserve better. I strongly urge a review of protocols, communication workflows, and staff training in regard to handling urgent medication requests, especially in the absence of a primary physician. As a War Veteran racked with pain, I don't deserve such delay in treatment. I've never withheld or delayed my duties in service of the people as a United States Marine, and deserve the same treatment. Also, these Doctors, do not provide alternative and all-natural remedies but continue to prescribe the big pharma profit-monger drugs. It's a terrible health"care" setup unlike any other I've encountered here in Arizona.”

“I have been a patient at AZ Pain Care Center for a few years. I've had a number of successful treatments at the pain center. The nurse that I see there is Shannon Morgenstern and I can't say enough about her. She's highly professional and extremely helpful. Her patient interaction skills are excellent and she is very respectful in her dealings with me.”

“The staff and doctors are wonderful at this location. I also have to commend Griselda, the Pre Auth person up in Glendale. She went above and beyond, helped me get money owed to us from Safeway Pharmacy. Thank you thank you!”
