What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Everyone at this clinic are nice and helpful. They take great care of me every time I am there. However I have had problems with the hospital who carries out of the procedure authorizations dropped the ball with me. They had 5 weeks to submit my referral for my next procedure and they waited until the Friday before my appointment which was early Monday. I had to call my insurance company just hours before and all they could do was put in a note of urgency. Thankfully I got a call saying it was approved with enough time to make it to my appointment. It is my understanding that this is a far to frequent occurance and it needs to be seriously addressed. No one should be this stressed leading up to an appointment and this is a pain clinic for heavens sake. We are already stressed enough as it is.”

“I called to make an appointment (after having already left a voicemail and unsuccessfully trying to get ahold of them for a week), and was told that a doctor here denied my referral from my PCP. Might have been good for someone to at least contact me and let me know about that as soon as possible, so I could have gone ahead and tried to get an appointment at a different doctor that's willing to see me. ** Update: Around 2 hours after posting this, the office called me to tell me that they saw this review, and they said they're sorry I didn't understand that my PCP was supposed to have updated me. My issue is that despite leaving a voicemail HERE a week ago, and continuing to try to call since then, I never got ahold of anyone until today-- only to ultimately be denied care and sent somewhere else. It just seems like my initial call, when I left a voicemail describing my situation, could have quickly and easily been returned before now, and I could have avoided spending the past week waiting. When someone gives you critical feedback, the best response is perhaps not actually to call them and tell them they are wrong. Especially when you know that they are seeking care for chronic pain.”

“Yes, I echo the review by Kayla below, since we also spent weeks repeatedly calling this center, almost always getting a voicemail initially. To their credit, they did usually return calls within a day, but after finally being told we WOULD be notified of an appointment time by a certain date and NOT hearing anything on that date or the day after, and calling again repeatedly, we were eventually told the doctor denied our referral and that "our doctor" should have notified us? (At least three doctors were involved in the referral, so we don't even know which one they might have intended and why couldn't they just provide the details of why we were denied, or at least which doctor we should contact?) I echo Kayla's sentiments that there are much better ways to communicate more efficiently, compassionately, and completely, especially for a person already suffering from severe pain who has been specifically told to contact pain management for the "best and most lasting solution". Can't even get started on a solution at this place, but instead wasted weeks trying (literally a pain) . . .”
