Patient Testimonials
“My initial impression of Dr. Rangaraj was very positive. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard and seen. I was referred to her by my primary physician and had my medical records sent over in good faith, hoping to establish a long-term treatment plan for my pain. However, everything changed during a video call when I was unexpectedly shamed for how I had my accident. I was treated as if I had been dishonest, which was not the case. I had provided details about where I stayed and the timeline. I believed she had access to my records -- and because of the trauma I carry, I didn't think I had to relive and over-explain every painful detail unless asked directly. She labeled me as "high risk." While I can understand that designation given the complexity of my history, what hurt me deeply was what happened next. She told me she wasn't going to discharge me -- and even implied most doctors would have -- which made me feel incredibly vulnerable. I sent a polite email thanking her, and to my shock, she called the next day saying she was discharging me after all and would mail the letter. It felt like emotional whiplash. Feeling confused and desperate for stability, I called to ask if there was any possibility I could try again. They told me I could come in -- and I believed maybe she had reconsidered. Instead, when I arrived in person weeks later, she formally discharged me face-to-face. She said we were "not a good fit," and that she didn't want to have patients who "don't like her." And she "wasn't comfortable"She said she wanted to do it in person because I cried on the phone. At that point, I was speechless. This wasn't just a professional decision -- it felt deeply personal and cruel. She knows I have PTSD and anxiety, yet still subjected me to a confusing, destabilizing emotional rollercoaster. I went through painful withdrawals and tried so hard to show her she could trust me -- and instead I was discarded in the most humiliating way. This experience has left me feeling betrayed, retraumatized, and afraid to trust another doctor again. The emotional damage from this interaction runs deep. I never expected compassion to come with conditions.”

“Unfortunately I have a few issues from my visit. First, my low back pain issue was diagnosed as being in the SI joint. A month later I found out it was actually at my L3 and L4 vertebrae. i was told that I could get an SI joint injection and was told that the front desk could look up what my cost would be through my insurance. I was told $75 so I scheduled the injection. Since the issue wasn't in the SI joint, the injection didn't help at all. Then a month later, I receive a bill from Apollo for $268.05. I called and was told, regardless of what I said I was told, that I wasn't informed that they could tell me my cost for the shot. Very disappointed in their stance on this matter.”

“Dr. R listens and prescribes appropriately. I have never witnessed anything out of the ordinary with respect to an "average pill mill" and quite frankly find that to be an insult to the practice as well as Dr. R. She explains her reasoning for changing the script so that you can understand the reasons why. To those that want to sling arrows and accuse her of being a "pill mill", perhaps a bit of research might help you understand why she prescribes this or that. Good lord, there are some that absolutely love to see others suffer and the sad thing is, there's no for it. Thank you Dr. R for all you do for me ....”

“Dr R is awesome! I was so excited to find out she has her own practice now. At my first visit she noticed that something was going on with my knee which I never mentioned to her. She takes time to listen and get to know each of her patients. Her staff is friendly and kind. Each patient is treated with respect and I couldn't be more pleased with my treatment plan.”
