What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I have been going here for several years and I don't think I could find a better place for managing my pain. I still have a lot of pain but they do everything the state will allow. They have awesome doctors and really nice nurses that you couldn't get any better anywhere else. They truly care, so it's not like some doctors that try to treat you like you are just a number. This staff really does care. It's amazing they can get you in and out within 15-20 minutes. That's unheard of now days. I really do love this place and the people.”

“My first visit and it was good. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. V spent about an hour getting to know me and what I hoped to gain from him taking over my pain management. Can't wait to get my pain undercontrol finally.”

“I went to Alliance Pain Center in Olympia for about 6 months. The nurses were always very nice and helpful. I had Dr. Fleming and he was great, then he left. After he left, I never saw the front two receptionists again for some reason. From that point on I was seen by Nurse Erin. She was straight forward with my treatment but was constantly telling me how lucky I was to be on the medication I am on, because if I was on opiates she would only prescribe enough opiates to be able to go just shopping, or just to mow the lawn and no more. Just about every time I saw her she just couldn't help but tell me how lucky I am. My last visit I did the usual $200 urine test and got my prescriptions, or so I thought. They insist if you have a medication issue you have your pharmacy send the request. Okay well I did that the last time they forgot to send my medication over and they never responded to my pharmacy. So I called Alliance and Dr. Fleming took care of it. There is an issue every other time I go there but this final time I have my pharmacy send over the request, it's ignored. I call, no answer. Next day, I call no answer. I'm out of meds by this point, but I wait and call the next day, leave a message directly with Erin and still no call back, no response. I gave up and went to see a different doctor at a different practice who saw me very quickly. I never ended up receiving a call back and basically paid for the privilege of not getting treatment. Weeks later I go to my appointment because I was supposed to have gotten a referral which I also never got, they said they sent that through at my appointment. I did every thing they asked for, injections, therapy, you name it, but Erin always had me on edge because the first time I saw her she said she wanted to cancel my medication I had been on for months before that for no reason other than by her own words "I only looked at your file 15 minutes ago so I don't know anything about you." As if that was my fault, I had my appointment with her made a month before that. Along with the always telling me how lucky I am. I would recommend you probably go elsewhere unless you okay with withdrawals every other month for no reason other than a lack of compassion and forgetfulness. I never saw Dr. Ross Vogelgesang so I can't speak as to his care, I'm sure it's just fine. And no I don't think I'll contact the office manager, thank you. Nurse Erin already called my phone several times to call me a liar. Changing to 1 star now. This is just the first few seconds of the call "Matthew, this is Erin at Alliance Pain Center just calling you uh to follow through with the uh Google review that you left for us. First of all, I just wanna get a couple of things straight that were not quite consistent".”

“I've been with Alliance Pain Center for a number of years due to my chronic pain. Erin Henderson has been my primary doctor but for various reasons over time, I've had to visit a number of different physicians there. Every visit I've had and regardless of who I saw on any given visit, I've had nothing but the absolute most professional and courteous treatment. Unfortunately people take it personally when they aren't seen at their exact scheduled time not taking into consideration that those before them may have had some additional special concerns that needed to be addressed which caused their doctor to become a bit behind schedule. They are very professional there and treat each and every patient with the utmost respect so unfortunately at times, behind schedule events do occur. It's the nature of the beast. Like any other medical facilities I.E. emergency rooms etc you can sometimes expect to be waiting for hours. They don't become behind at personal choice, they are at the mercy of each and every patient they see and provide professional courtesy, attention and concern for each and every patient they see on any given day. As a retired 100% disabled between, I've seen a few pain management providers through the years and find Alliance, Dr. V and his entire staff second to none. If you're looking for a Pain Management provider, I would HIGHLY suggest and recommend Alliance Pain Management.”
