Patient Testimonials
“Even though the shots didn't end up helping me, I give 5 stars. Dr. A. is very professional and knowledgeable, as are the staff, and incredibly helpful, and very thorough about explaining everything. I never felt rushed as I struggle to walk and go a lot slower than I used to walk. I wish there was some medicine to help get the edge off when the pain is absolutely excruciating, and I wish there was some miracle cure. But I was informed that the shots don't always help prior to getting them, and that the body heals in time. Dr. A. told me that I had 4 mildly to moderately bulging disks in my low back and possibly some torn muscles as well. He recommended that I continue with physical therapy for at least another month, of which doing the physical therapy exercises are slowly helping. I never expected to ever be in this much pain and limited range of motion for so long, but the care I have received throughout all of this at the Pain Clinic, at Occupational Health and at Physical Therapy, has been top notch. Well done to all for all of your outstanding and professional work. Thank you so much. Have a safe, splendid and blessed Memorial weekend, and may God's grace, mercy, and peace in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be with you all, always. Amen.”

“This is the worst run pain clinic ever. I asked a few questions and was told to get out by the woman in charge because she couldn't answery questions. She was a very small and spiteful person, she came out looking for a fight and when I just sat there and asked questions she couldn't handle it. She should not be in charge of anything.”

“Very happy with the first meeting with Dr A. The sweets nurse checked me in. Dr A Had my MRI's up for me to look at. Dr A showed me where the pain was coming. Dr A felt I should wait before having any injections. I set up for a return visit. At my return visit, I was still in pain but getting better. The nurse who checked me in was very impatient. Dr A came in I felt rushed and he was not wanting to hear anything from me. A totally different atmosphere from the first meeting. He did offer to refer me to someone else. After thinking about it I did contact Dr A and said yes I would like a referral since I still had pain! He stated he had nothing more to offer go to my family Dr. I am very grateful to Dr A for pointing out one of the area's the pain was coming from. Knowing where your pain is coming from is HUGE! I had more questions since I still was having pain but I could tell he did not want to hear it. Today I received a letter from Dr A telling me he would no longer be my Dr. I had no intention of seeing him again. So to have Dr A send me a letter telling me he would not see me anymore? I am not sure what the point was for sending the letter.”

“So very frustrated with this office. First appointment I showed up at the given time and was told they gave me the wrong date and no doctor was available. 2nd appointment the doctor decided a hip MRI was necessary and didn't do anything for my pain. 3rd visit I showed up and they didn't have the written report from my hip MRI. I was sent home until they received it. I called 2 more times and finally called the office where I got the MRI myself and had it faxed to them. I made a call to see if they got it and was told they would be referring me to a surgeon as the doctor didn't feel he could do anything for me. I now have received 2 bills for the same date with 2 different account numbers and literally they never treated me for anything. I called them and the very curt secretary gave me the UnityPoint general billing department. I requested a detailed bill 2 weeks ago which I never received. I called the office again 2 days ago and requested to talk with the person in the office who does the billing and still waiting for a return call. Terrible experience and now trying to figure out my next step for the fraudulent billing!!!”
