Patient Testimonials
“I had an awful experience with Algone and Dr.Musa. During our consultation he seemed to understand I was in a lot of pain and saw the MRIs which indicate a surgical intervention by an orthopedic surgeon. After talking about what I've tried and what has worked and not worked in the past we agreed on a medication so I could function until surgery. To my surprise when I filled my medication it wasn't at all what we talked about. One of the medications I was allergic to, one was the wrong form so I couldn't take it and one was a psych med. Dr. Musa isn't a psychiatrist and it felt like he was saying that I'm crazy and the pain is in your head. There was no discussion about mental health during the consultation. None of these medications were discussed and they knew my allergies. I called multiple times to try and find out what I could do since these weren't the medications we talked about and then I got an email telling me that he could no longer treat me. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor before. A warning to those who might seek his help; he'll lie to your face, gaslight you and fire you as a patient if you persist.”

“Was referred by my doctor to these people, from the beginning it was a disaster with them. Most unorganized dysfunctional pain clinic I've ever dealt with. Wound up going to Algone in Wasilla because after they had seen me twice after they just wouldn't answer the phone and I had to just go down there. Walked in and they wanted to collecta urinalysis sample... all good and fine I guess. And then, nothing for weeks. I call and call and no answer. Friday came around and I was fed up and went down there. 3:00pm in the after as I'm waking up to the door, gal comes out saying that they are closing early. Got a call back on Monday first thing nig the morning. They told me that my insurance was taking too long for authorization. I have Medicare and Medicaid, I've never had an issue before. Don't have an issue now with them now that I go out to the valley because it's not the same company. Spoke with Algone in Wasilla and they said that they had never heard of a clinic doing that; that they only share the name and are not actually part of the Anchorage practice at all. Avoid the headache if possible...”

“Don't waste your time. The staff is incompetent and the Dr treats you like a drug seeker. He knocked my pain medicine in half the first day I met him after being on it for 7 years and refused to put it back. Started using kratom to substitute the loss and was penalized and then taken off all my meds. I have never in my life struggled with the terrible Healthcare that I have received since being in alaska. If this office has given you grief as well, please report them or these Drs will continue to give substandard care. It is unacceptable medical behavior.”

“I am so blessed to have found Algone and especially Doctor Musa. My visits have been great, very thorough which I like and understand. Since I found Doctor Musa and Algone, I can finally say how much better I finally feel. The injuries were rough, but the care I've received from Algone has been amazing and professional. I highly recommend them, and Doctor Musa. Thank you Algone!”
