“We had to take our son to get injections for his back. I had a bill for him that visit. Every week I would send some money to it funny thing. Once the bill got down to $70, they sent me a letter saying. If I did not get set up on payment plan that they would send it to collection $70. I told them that I was doing good.The way that I am doing it.I don't want to be set up on payment plan.Because if I cannot pay it at that time.Then, I don't have to worry about calling or arguing with them.So they made me set it up on payment plan.They said, if I made extra payments or anything like that. To call and let them know. So what did I do a month ago?I called them after I made the extra payment.Getting it paid off, left a voicemail. And then my bank was charged today. And then they are like, oh, you're credited. $25.00, so we'll send you a check.That's why I did not want to be put on a payment plan. Because I was planning on paying it off as long as I had the extra money. I would never do business with this place.”

“Takashi Williams. I was a patient at Advanced pain for about 10 year. When I first started there Rita Simpson was my specialist, I give credit to her for the effort to try and relieve my back pain. I eventually had to get a stimulator implant. After she retired, I've had 4 different specialist over the years at Advanced pain so it was like starting over with each new person. It became no longer about how much pain I'm in, it was a waste of time telling them my pain level. I was basically paying copay just to have my medications counted and sent home, roughly 5 minutes or less on the visit. And their violation system is ridiculous. Especially the one that they let me go for. I had an appointment with Advanced pain at the last week of June, and I had Kidney cancer surgery on May 28. My doctor was hoping to cut the kidney cancer out of my kidney but I woke up to extreme pain from a radical nephrectomy. I spent 3 painful days in the hospital at KU Medical in Kansas City, so my wife drove me home. 3 hour drive of pain. Before I left the hospital they gave me pain medication for recovery. Do you think Advanced pain was on mind during that time of pain! During the time of recovery I didn't take any of my pain medication from Advanced pain. I went to my appointment at Advanced pain a month later and told them about the pain medication they prescribed for 2 weeks. They gave me a violation. A couple days later they let me go. I'm currently looking for a new pain specialist without medication so my pain levels are pretty high. Do your research before choosing a pain specialist, check reviews!”

“I tried them out 5 years ago and cane to the conclusion they were only looking for a profit. My pcp talked me into trying them again and that will be the last time. They are WAY more interested in making money than anything else. If they want to experiment with injections that dont work then they should pay for them”
