“I had an appointment with Micheal it went great he explained to me more about my past back surgeries than the doctors who did my surgeries in (Virginia) and why I was still having the pain in my back he just explained it a lot better than any of the past doctors and until they can replace my stimulator I'm going to try some of his other ways to relieve the pain. The staff and nurses were great and understanding I'm really glad I found Advance Pain Management when I moved up here.”

“Personally, I felt compelled to change my review. My first experience was positive, but the next one was not. I had an allergic reaction to one of the injections and no one would call me back. So I never went back. Then, I had a new injury in 2023. It was a nightmare. I saw so many doctors and they all treated me like I was a drug-seeking addict!. Really?? Walk a mile in my shoes and tell me, you do not need any type of medication to manage your pain. The joke was on them as I could not even have the stuff they were accusing me of wanting. The injections did not help and unless I wanted more injections I was told there was nothing else they could do to help me. I've had a lot of bad care at Mankato clinic over the years, but this one took the cake. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy if I had one. The doctors need more pain training and Mankato clinic needs to recheck their policies for how they treat people who come in for pain issues. We want to feel better. If it takes a pill to do that, then give us a pill. I was told injections can do more damage. so why push injections??? That's right because they cost thousands of dollars were as they do not make much on pills. Shame on you Mankato Clinic. On the plus side though, the staff on the procedure side were absolutely amazing. And the reception was also amazing. If you are in pain, go to Mayo or to one of the pain clinics in the cities. You will be treated better.”

“Dr. Michael is very knowledgeable when it comes to how the mechanics of the bones, muscles and tendons all work together. He is also very kind, friendly and listens well. He explains thoroughly, and shows me, what's going on with me and what treatments he recommends that may work. I recommend him to find the source of your pain like he did mine and help you find relief for it.”

(Now owned by Mankato Clinic) My provider gently encouraged me to consider a treatment that I was pretty skeptical about (fearful) but eventually I decided to take the steps to try it, and I am so grateful that I did!! I believe that the providers care for their patients, and if you have a chronic pain issue, please don't suffer forever. This is a wonderful clinic with caring staff.”
