“Pain Management, or CAUSE of pain identification.Extreme headaches, loss of feeling in left index finger. Did I say EXTREME headaches? -After 2 or more MRI's. -After X-rays of -neck -back -spine Just could not figure it out! So treatment of anesthesia and shots of a dont remember drug, then the prescription of Vicodin. All better now. NOT! Its the Mayo clinic they are the best, really punched up my Blue Cross PPO, and co-pay. Cha-ching$$$$$ Moving forward - 2 years later in Arizona,lots of booze, vicodin, excruciating PAIN, Headaches, nausea, call ambulance. No a US Marine does not,( I drive) to the Phoenix,AZ Veterans Hospital which the media talked crap about! Pain killers waiting at the ER Door. X-ray neck (and MRI from outsourced Mayo$$$) ER Doctor shows me Xray and says see that little itty bitty piece of shrapnel or something in your spine/neck? Is hitting the main nerve on your Left side, creating, all the above problems. An ER Doctor from the supposed shitty VA Hospital figured it out in 10 minutes! So no the Mayo clinic (TREATS) NOT CURES SHIT! This is why there is a line out the door every 1st of the month for pain meds at MAYO! Kudos to the VA Hospital, and to the Navy Neuro Surgeon, informed me yes surgery can fix , but may never walk again, Honesty! So do I recommend the MAYO, No !”
