“Dr. East completely misdiagnosed my muscle/tendon related injury as a spine issue. He was motivated by selling his spine injections and could not distinguish nerve-related pain vs non-nerve related. The misdiagnosis caused a great deal of anxiety and suffering, until I saw two other doctors who contradicted his judgment. He also ordered an unnecessary MRI that costed over $900 that found no issues with my spine. Then they called me in to charge me more money, just to show me the null MRI results and asked me if I want to do spine injections anyways. This practice is entirely motivated by profit making rather than helping the patients.”
