Patient Testimonials

Went in today to get epidural cervical injection. After entering procedure room, i said hello to doctor who didn't even acknowledge me. His assistant Zach and a nurse had me lie flat on my back on table and placed a bolster under my knees and nurse then put bloood pressure cuff on my arm. Nurse said she'd soon give me something to relax me. I answered great because I was really nervous. Nurse then started stretching neck of my tshirt and taped it multiple ways pulling it down and away from my neck area. Then finally she said she was going to give me something to relax me. Then someone started wiping something on my neck and I turned my head to the right since I assumed they were going to inject me on the left. She put something into Iv port and I could taste something bitter in my mouth. Immediately I felt a horrible jab in my neck and I said that it hurt. Then I hear the doctor say that he can't do this and I hear him pull off his gloves and the staff remove the tape from my shirt and a bandage is put on my neck. That's the first time he even spoke to me. I asked why they couldn't put me to sleep and he says they don't do that.i did begin to cry and nurse gave me a tissue and sent me outside to waiting room where my husband was sitting. I told him they didn't put me to sleep and refused to do the injection. They didn't even give me enough of whatever medicine to fully relax me into a twilight state. The doctor appeared mad at me although he's an anesthesiologist and should know how to sedate someone. I'm not sure what they injected me with. They didn't tell me or my husband. But whatever it was never sedated me for any length of time. I was fully aware and can remember everything. Dr. Adair never introduced himself to me nor did he explain anything of what was about to happen. I only heard him tell his staff that he couldn't do the injection because I was moving. Then he came out to tell my husband the same and quickly left. I asked triage nurse to remove iv and she said id have to wait for 20-30 minutes before leaving because of the sedation. I told her I wasn't sedated but she walked away. After 10 minutes I asked group of women sitting behind a counter to get someone to remove iv and they sent me upfront to triage where she took it out and had me initial some paper. Then we left. I wasn't groggy, unsteady on my feet or dizzy or in any way impaired the whole time. I walked out completely on my own. I would not advise anyone to use this doctor.

The staff is awesome other than one of Dr Adair nurses as well as Dr Adair,. They will lie in you like they didn't give you certain meds and report you for not taking your meds when you have explained to them why at that particular time you didn't because of illness. And then instead of him calling me in and counting my meds, he sent me a letter in the mail. Every physician I tell that too and shown them the letter he sent frowned on it and said that isn't the way to do that. Make me feel like he was looking for a reason to get rid of me. I really HATE I was referred to him. All I can say is be very careful if you do go to see him, something about him isn't right at all.

Dr Adair is the best at what he does. His staff is wonderful and he is straight forward with his patience and will work with you to find a way to make you feel better. I have seen him for several years and he has treated me like a good friend but he will never do anything to hurt you. And if he thinks that it's not working then he will try everything too find the problem and fix the issue. Thanks Dr. Adair and your wonderful staff for helping me with my pains. Thank you again and God bless you .
