Patient Testimonials
“Referred here for back pain. I was told it would be a few weeks to get started...that's fine, I understand it's a process and I wasn't in a rush. After 4 weeks of not hearing anything (their sheet says to call after 2 weeks if you don't hear anything), I called a couple of days ago left a message and no call back so I called again today. I end up on the phone with I believe an MA-didn't get a name but sure wish I had. She was shockingly rude. I was trying to explain, with upcoming travel and insurance change coming at the first of year how do we move forward a little faster. She said they need info from me. Some of that info was records from another practice. That practice did send the records and called to let me know they had. I'm starting to feel frustrated by her attitude at this point and ask as nicely as possible how come someone didn't let me know all this information was needed 4 weeks ago. Got excuses...understaffed, doing the best they can...valid excuses, but excuses none the less. Then she tells me I keep interrupting her and won't let her complete a sentence. Shocked, I asked "are you serious?" She was. Not surprisingly I felt exactly the same way - she'd interrupt before I could let her know I had records sent to them and why the urgency to move faster. There was no need for this to escalate the way it did. Common courtesy would have worked wonders. There are 2 sides to every story so I expect she's complaining about me on the other end. I'm not perfect but I didn't escalate until she did. I ended up telling her, never mind I won't be coming back. I'm not in enough pain to be willing to deal with this type of attitude. I will say the front desk, Cheryl, the gentleman who answers the phone and the PA I saw were wonderful!!! If you have thick skin this practice might be worth fighting through the rude ones. I won't know but hopefully they do help others with their pain.”

“In my experience with this office, there is a lack of empathy and understanding for patients' needs. After adhering to my advised treatment plan, the need to address a billing discrepancy in an amount over $400 arose. After presenting an account audit with all of my insurance explanation of benefits, they were able to correct the over billing. I assumed the problem was resolved and even referred a professional colleague. When I needed to schedule a follow-up appointment I expected support, but I was met with barriers and denied care. I was advised I would need a new referral from my PCP first. I ended up with other insurance and going to another clinic, but after a few years my insurance changed and I was re-referred back to Accelerated Recovery. When I called to schedule a re-entry appointment I was advised they would not see me as I had gone to another clinic, they were busy and that it was their policy that patients seen elsewhere were not able to return. While the providers I interacted with at Accelerated Recovery were competent, the overall professionalism of the practice fell short, leaving me feeling undervalued and unsupported as a patient.”

“The care is great from the docs and the nurse practitioner. Also the front office staff is wonderful. Never make you feel rushed, or it's a pain in the neck to answer your questions. In fact, I asked one of the front office employees if they went through customer service training. It's a pleasure to go to their office. Pamela F.”

“I initially had a frustrating experience when they charged me $75 to sign my FMLA paperwork that I already completely filled out and all it needed was a signature. I asked during my appointment after paying a $50 copay. I ended up paying the $75 because I really needed the paperwork in order to protect my job. My pain has been unbearable and there are times I am unable to work because of it. I shared my frustration with my husband, who was also upset about being charged $75 for a signature. He then posted a negative review to about it. I called the next morning and requested a refund because my chiropractor agreed to sign my paperwork for free. They called me and cancelled my future appointment because apparently it is a "liability" for them to continue to treat me after receiving a bad review. But had it been a positive review there would not had been an issue. I wished I had look at some of negative reviews prior to scheduling any appointment here because I was completely unsatisfied with the lack of care I received and being treated as a dollar sign rather than patient. If you want quality care by a provider who genuinely cares about your pain, this is not the place to go! Just want to add that it is NOT illegal to share your experience or frustration to anyone privately or on a public forum. That is called FREE SPEECH. Nothing I said in my initial review was inaccurate. I never said it was illegal to charge $75 on top of the copay, but it is wrong. Especially because another provider reviewed my FMLA Documentation and signed it with no charge. Sure, the Dept of Labor allows you to require payment, that doesn't mean it right to charge a patient $75 to sign a form that I already filled out for them to make it easier, on top of the $50 I paid that same day to been seen. That is my point this facility is choosing to charge patients a significant amount to sign an FLMA document on top of the copay. Just another way to squeeze money out of patients who are just seeking quality care for their pain. Their response should be enough. This place is so afraid of bad reviews that they would rather discharge patients instead of discussing the issue(s) with the patient.”
