What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Dr Kabarra has been great. I see a lot of people complain about not getting pain meds. Unfortunately the medical police are monitoring meds very closely. They do the very best without risking legal liabilities. It's a crying shame but that's what society is faced with”

“I had ONE appointment for severe sciatic nerve pain. Rather than receiving an injection or nerve block to treat the pain, I was referred to physical therapy "to see if that would help". Of course, therapy did NOT help. Rather than waiting around indefinitely for Dr. Kabbara to treat me, I scheduled surgery with Dr. Dustin Donnelly to repair the sciatic issue that was causing the pain. Communication with Dr. Kabbara 's office has been terrible to non-existent. When they finally scheduled me for a procedure it was after many weeks of suffering and within only a week of my neurosurgery, too close to the sciatic surgery to be permitted. In short, my experience with Dr. Kabbara and his office has been frustrating and a waste of time. When I left the last message to cancel my appointment and complained about the poor communication with his office, Katie form Kabbara 's office called me back and scolded me saying that I had never left them any previous messages despite the fact that I had left several. Coincidentally, when you call Kabbara's office, his message says: "Please don't leave multiple messages at multiple numbers" because that only delays and confuses the office in responding. (Which, by the way, may be up to 48 hours for a return call). When I suggested that the reason people might be leaving multiple messages was because the office never responds, I was yelled at like I was stupid and/or crazy. Given the choice between dealing with Dr. Kabbara's office and dealing with my pain, I'll TAKE THE PAIN. Frankly, this is the FIRST poor experience that I have ever had at University Hospital. EVERY OTHER Doctor that has treated me has been a rock star. Those doctors include Dr. Charles Butrey (Family Medicine), Dr. Bill Stanfield (Orthopedics), Dr. Dustin Donnelly (Neurosurgery). If there are other options for pain management at UH, I strongly urge you to look around.”
