“This is a wonderful practice. The front desk, assistants, nurse practitioners, and Dr Carter that I have had are caring and professional. I have been going there for 2-3 years. Sure they start at ground zero treating you and work you up the ladder of treatments. Yes I had to provide them names and phone numbers and dates for getting medical information about past procedures and treatments. Without all this they would just be a "pill mill" handing out opioids. They treat me with respect and work with me in all aspects of my treatment. I will keep going there”

“Request for my records was faxed to these people 3 weeks ago. My new doctor needs these records to be on hand for my appointment. It is this kind of service that differentiates on practice from another. They have not sent my records, nor returned my calls asking about them. Previous review: I showed up for an appointment without my meds. I ran home to get my meds so I could see the PA. They charge the same copay when you see the PA as they do when you see the Doctor. These people only care about how much money they can make off of you and your insurance company. My recommendation at this time is to avoid them like the plague.”

“I was referred to Dr. Aaron Carter for pain management. When I called to make an appointment they said he was going on vacation so I had to wait for over three weeks for an appointment. When I got there my appointment was at 4 PM and the girl told me that I was supposed to be there at 3 PM which is not true, so they had to reschedule me. They scheduled me for three days later and then when I got home, the girl at the front desk, Laura, who was very rude and screamed and yelled at me, for no reason, called me as soon as I got home and told me that they had a cancellation to be there the next morning at 8:30 AM, because Dr. Carter could see me at 9 AM. It was pouring down rain but I got up at 7 AM and went there for my 9 AM appointment with my paperwork already filled out and then she tells me in a very rude ugly manner that I wasn't supposed to be there until 1 PM . OMG !! This place is not recommended. ! They don't know their right eye from their left eye.!! Dr. Carter talked to me at my request because I came in pouring down rain for my appointment and he tried to make excuses for their unprofessional habits.What a cop out he is!! Do not go see this Doctor because you're only asking for a lot of run around and waiting.with upsets and no help!! I've been waiting now for almost one month and still no doctor. I wouldn't give him one star if I had the option! So I guess the girl Laura at the front desk is just as rude as Dr. Aaron Carter is so they make a really good team but they are both very unprofessional.!!”

“I've been seeking pain treatment for 20 years in a variety of States across the Nation period Dr Carter is the best pain doctor I've ever had and I even went to Mayo Clinic. Not only does he care about my pain but he cares about how my pain is affecting the other aspects of my life. It's true what people say they don't give you medication on your first visit. I think they would be crazy if they did. They followed the laws of the state of North Carolina regarding pain medicine period if all you're seeking is pills you went to the wrong guy. Dr Carter didn't just medicate me and send me away he actually took the time over the last 5 years to make my life more bearable. My spine is falling apart due to a birth defect and he is actually taking care of me. Yes some of the procedures that he does are painful but if you have chronic pain you understand that anybody touching that area is going to cause you some pain in order to heal you. I'd recommend Dr Carter and his staff to anyone. They are one or two people in the office that kind of rub me the wrong way but with a staff that large that's bound to happen. Dr Carter is the best.”
