I left numerous messages, had my Primary Care doctor contact MGH Facial Pain Clinic and I never received a call/text/email in return. I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia, also know as the Suicide Disease. Fortunately, I found Dr Omar Arnaout at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is a brillant and caring neurosurgeon who performed my surgery in December 2023. I have no pain only gratitude. If you are frustrated by MGH please try Dr Arnaout.

Absolutely useless. Don't bother going here because they won't listen to you lol. I don't even have a complicated injury but for some reason they think it will heal itself because I am in my 20s? Ok. Wasted 6 months of my life jumping through their numerous hoops with no results despite saying their "treatment" isn't working. Treatment being a loose term. Go elsewhere - don't waste your time.

They put themselves above patients and refuse to treat certain issues due to legal problems, even going to the extent of repeatedly lying and making stuff up. This is not a hospital for the people, it is a hospital for Harvard. If you have any legal woes these people will never consider helping you, and will leave you in a worse state than you came in. Quoting this from another review here, and it is very true: "They have the power over suffering patients and seem to become angry when they're unable to help, as if it's our fault." Beware.

I was referred Dec10 2021 for pain and as of today Jan1,2022 after many calls I am still being told I can not even make an appointment as I have to be "approved " and there are no appointments for months. Seems to me if your Doctor Refers you for pain that means you are in need of help now. I have to say this undermines my confidence in this dept ability to treat people in pain or have any compassion. I will not even attempt to secure an appointment there any longer and find an alternative solution for my intense pain. So incredibly disappointed as MGH has a really good rating as a hospital and this treatment has been inhumane.
