“I was disheartened to see the negative review left on the Woodbridge location as my experience with this office as well as other locations have been vastly different over the past 3yrs I was a patient. I LOVE the puppy first of all. He's part of the family. I have been in and out of numerous clinics/offices for pain over the past 5yrs and these people are the ONLY ones who have TRIED to help me. They've put forth the effort to try to find solutions for my case. They never once threw their hands in the air like every other Dr/surgeon has. Aside from how wonderful they've been medically, the ladies in that office have become friends. They are so compassionate, supportive, quick to respond to issues, and have gone above and beyond for me personally. They genuinely do care about their patients which is a rarity in this specialty. By far the best office staff I've experienced. I used to get panic stricken prior to every appt with past providers because of the way I was treated even though I was always compliant. My anxiety was just terrible for days prior. For YEARS. This office erased that. I actually looked forward to my appts. The "pill counter" Is anything but just a pill counter. Her name is Angelica, and she GOES HARD for her patients. That girl advocates like no other. She does the work behind the scenes patients don't get to see too often unless they are back there with her. She's on the phone with pharmacists making sure patients have their medication in time and doesn't take their crap if they make things difficult for the patient which we pain patients know happens all too often. We are LUCKY to have her! I've never smelled anything animal in that office and I'm the type of person who is the one to smell something when nobody else does. That puppy is GREAT to have around for the patients and very well trained to not run under feet. Dr. Thimineur would never allow the puppy to be in the office if he thought it was a threat to his patients or a liability (neither would puppy's owner) trust me. He's our in office therapy dog. I've seen that puppy put so many smiles on patients faces especially the wheelchair bound and elderly. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions of course, but go be a patient at 10 other pain specialists offices THEN circle back and rank this one. I'm devastated to have lost my care here due to insurance reasons. I know I'll never find another office like these guys or care like this ever again.”

“Woodbridge office is a mess, there is a small dog that is free roaming and can trip someone who has and number of back issues. The smell of dog as well is unbearable. The young lady that counts medications is rude and has server attitude issues. Consider another doctor.”

“I've been a patient for several years now, and I find Dr Thimineur to be one of the best pain doctors I've ever seen. He saved my life and cut my pain level by 60-75% implanting an occipital neurostimulator. I also receive epidurals for my upper and lower cervical and they work wonderfully thanks to Dr Thimineur!!I can't say enough about his staff! They are beyond terrific and you never have to wait to be seen unlike many other pain doctors where you wait for at least 3 hours.Your not going to find a more knowledgeable, kind and caring pain doctor around!”

“As a new patient, I had a very good first meeting with Dr. Thimineur and an equally good follow up with his medical associate, Andrew Paulson. As a Complex Regional Pain sufferer, as well as someone who has a childhood spinal injury that requires epidural injections, I have responsibly used prescribed opioid drugs for my pain; though because I have been in remission and free of them for more than a year, I saw Dr. Thimineur only to schedule epidural injections for my back, not to ask for medication. As the date of the procedure approached, I called with questions about follow up care and was told by his coordinator, Gina, of whose medical credentials I'm uncertain, that I would not be allowed any further direct contact with Dr. Thimineur, or his medical associate, Andrew, and that all decisions about my follow up care, including any pain medication I might need as a result of the procedure, would be made by or through her.Having been off opioid medication for so long, I was concerned about post procedural pain and wanted answers from my doctor, and tried to schedule a meeting with him before the procedure. I was told by Gina that doing so was impossible and I cancelled my epidurals and scheduled the first available appointment with Dr. Thimineur before rescheduling the epidural procedure. Before that appointment could occur, I received a notice that I was terminated as a patient, for no specific reason. I have since unsuccessfully tried to contact Dr. Thimineur for an explanation, and can only assume that asking questions and insisting on answers from a qualified medical professional disqualified me as a worthy patient. While Dr. Thimineur and his medical associate, Andrew, were courteous, knowledgeable and seemed very competent, his assistant Gina basically accused me of trolling for drugs because I expressed concern about postoperative pain management. As a longterm pain patient, I fully understand the need to better control opioid abuse, but drug shaming responsible and legitimate patients isn't a solution. Great doctors, absolutely terrible and arrogant support personnel. Jean Calabrese”
