“I saw a Dr here in late 2023. I don't remember his name unfortunately, and it's been changed in my chart to Dr. Martinez. The first Dr. I saw barley even looked at me when speaking to me. told me I was too fat, and "just need to lose weight." the entire appointment I felt he was dismissive and belittling. I requested a different dr for my next visit. This dr told me I HAD to do a treatment I didn't agree with before he would even consider an MRI for the injury I was there for. I tried said treatment and it made it worse. So, I told him that and asked him to order the MRI and if insurance denied the claim I'd handle it. that was in February. now in June, I have NO ANSWERS AND NO ONE WILL GET BACK TO ME. also, when I asked to change drs, the woman at the front desk said, "well, are you sure, he's really nice! he must just be having an off day. no really, he's really nice, give it one more chance." I told her I didn't care how bad a day he's having, it's NO excuse to be dismissive and disrespectful to patients. if I could give this place negative stars I would. don't go there.”

“I went to see Dr. Perkowski for a second opinion for chronic back pain, and I appreciated his knowledge and experience. A previous physician injected a steriod shot in my spine, when there was never any need to do so. I felt very hesitant to see the previous physician, so I was referred to Dr. Perkowski, and he relayed to me that my spine was in fact healthy and that there was no need for that shot. As much as his expertise shows, his attitude showed just as much. He was oddly frustrated with me when explaining that my spine my healthy like I was at fault for being told the first time there was an issue with my spine, like I had no business to be in his office. I went to him to get a second opinion which I was very happy to know that my spine is in fact healthy, but he spoke to me like I was a waste of his time and effort. Even when I explained a couple of concerning symptoms to him, he made the face equivalent to rolling his eyes and just completely dismissed me. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day, but I surely didn't feel cared for by him. I felt hurt after this visit; however, I will take his care plan seriously and follow it, though I will be asking to be seen by someone else.”

“After my mom saw this doctor she was traumatized. Each time she would go she seemed apprehensive to go back. After her last visit I'm very concerned as to what went on. I have no idea what he did to her because whenever I ask she just cries and says he's not a nice Doctor. Almost as if she's afraid of him. She refuses to go back. I've never seen my mom so shaken up about anything. Very concerning that this man cares for many patients who are dealing with chronic pain and vulnerable.”
