Cooper Pain Management at Camden

“I haven't been able to make an appt with my original cooper PM doctor in over a year. I was injured at work in 2023 and as a result my lower spine became an absolute mess and continues to get worse. I have had 2 out of 4 procedures carried out by cooper pain management that did not go well, the last one (medial lumbar branch block) leaving me maimed. Immediately after the procedure my pain increased past the point I thought pain could go-,it was indescribable. The morning after I got up and fell to the floor. I couldn't walk normally for over a month, my legs sporadically gave out and would fall several times a day needing a crutch to get around. I NEVER needed one before that specific procedure was botched. Any and all phone calls made regarding these concerns are not "on the record" so they "never happened". I still have nerve damage in my legs and am in a state of excruciating pain 24/7. Unfortunately, the impression I have accumulated over the last year and a half is that Cooper pain management does not care about my pain or the permanent physical and emotional damage they have inflicted on me in the slightest regard. They tried to gaslight me at my follow up over a month later to convince me that it's in my head and that I'm making up my symptoms to avoid any liability. Do not go to Cooper for ANY procedure if you want humane and reasonable treatment without being treated like a psychosomatic drug seeker. If you're lucky they'll glance at your imaging- though in my experience they just read a 3 sentence report and schedule procedures MONTHS in advance with no pain management in between the several months you're waiting to be seen. I feel that it is my moral obligation to warn other patients who may be experiencing similar issues. I know what it's like when you are so desperate to not live with all consuming, life ruining pain. This is not a place for pain relief, this is a place that inflicts more physical and emotional pain than before you walked through their doors.”
