“I had an MRI 2 months before Ablation Blocks. I had discomfort a few days before first 1/2 of Ablations. I had at least 1 herniated disc and it was not mentioned at consult. After ablations pain is intensified. Getting another MRI to see if anything else going on where pain is.”

“I developed an uncommon condition- intercostal neuralgia- over the course of 6 years. It is a maddening condition to say the least. Dr. Greenspan was the only pain provider outside of Boston that could perform radiofrequency ablation for this condition. Even Dartmouth couldn't help me. Had the procedure done less than a week ago and I am already off all painkillers. Dr. Greenspan's technique was amazing! *UPDATE* Went back to Dr. Greenspan again and he was totally on target and so cordial to speak with after the procedure. I understand that some patients- including myself- have needed pain medication and that not everything can be cured with a procedure. That said, Dr. Greenspan does his best to get to the root problem of the pain source without relying on narcotics. He, like many other physicians and pharmacists, have been put in the middle of the "war on opioids" and people who abuse them and innocent chronic pain patients who just want relief. Clearly there are no simple answers, but I would certainly expect more from the NH Medical Association in terms of carving the right path for both pain patients and doctors.”

I have chronic back pain which I will have to love with for the rest of my life and every time I come in for an injection I love pain free for the duration the injection lasts. He takes his time during each procedure explaining step by step what he is doing. I can't thank him enough for giving me my life back to where ai can at least function on a level of normalcy.
